Liminka has a history of more than 540 years presenting itself in various sights that feature the area’s colourful culture and history. Nowadays Liminka is beloved home to approximately 10,000 inhabitants and a visiting destination well-suited for versatile and active nature adventures, especially loved by families with children.
It is easy to reach Liminka which is situated in the crossing between highway E8 to the western coast and highway E4 to the south. You can also use public transportation, Perille.fi. You can get to Liminka Bay Nature Centre bus stop on transit lines 53 and 53A of Oulun joukkoliikenne. In addition to the above, you can reach the center of Liminka on line 52.
